Virtual Young Handlers Competition

Penbode Farm Vets are known for their support of the annual country shows and their Young Handler Competitions.

With all shows cancelled this year we want to continue to encourage our young farmers and are holding a FREE online competition - with prizes of course!

We have four classes catering for competitors aged 16 and under on 27 August.
Class 1 - KS1+KS2 - Beef or dairy calf
Class 2 - KS1+KS2 - Any sheep breed
Class 3 - KS3+KS4 - Beef or dairy calf
Class 4 - KS3+KS4 - Any sheep breed

Anyone can enter (clients and non-clients). Simply upload a video of the competitor showing the animal and telling us about it in a
couple of paragraphs to the Penbode Farm Vets Facebook page
@penbodefarmvets, by midnight on Tuesday 25 August.

There is no entry fee.

Judging will take place on 27 August and winners will be announced that day.

We are delighted to announce that Pat Martin will be judging the sheep classes and Abi Marshall the cattle classes.

Prizes will be awarded for animal handling and knowledge.
