Equine

Ellen joined Penbode Equine Vets in early 2022, having moved to the area from Hampshire. Ellen graduated from Cambridge University in 2015. She undertook the equine internship at the Liphook Equine Hospital where she gained experience in a range of fields including lameness and diagnostic imaging; surgery and anaesthesia; emergency medicine and critical care and equine medicine.
On completion of her internship Ellen spent three years at a busy sports horse and polo practice in Hampshire where she studied for her certificate in advanced veterinary practice specialising in lameness diagnostics and therapeutics.
Ellen has a keen interest in lameness, diagnostic imaging and poor performance in all levels of equine athletes.
In her spare time Ellen enjoys running with her dog Otis and looks forward to exploring the Devon and Cornwall countryside.
