The Vets

John Boundy John Boundy [Partner]
John Qualified in 1969 from the RVC in London and has worked for Penbode ever since.
He has been a dedicated farm vet for many years, although he has been known to treat the occasional pet whilst on a farm.
In his spare time John enjoys playing golf. He is president of Bude RFC and enjoys following the progress of all the teams especially the club's first team.
He can often be found helping his son Ben with his flock of sheep.

Phil Leighton Phil Leighton [Partner]
Phil qualified from the Royal (Dick) vet school in Edinburgh in 1995 and came to work at penbode. Initially his work included both farm and companion animals, but he eventually specialised in farm animals.
His special interests at work include cattle nutrition, herd health and mastitis/cell count problems.
Outside work he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, fishing and playing golf.

LyndaLynda
Lynda has seen Penbode through the Foot and Mouth crisis, being a part of the team since July 2000. She is a Liverpudlian at heart and eventually settled in Devon in 1996. She is a keen horsewoman, having owned and competed ‘Fi-Fi’ for the last 18 years.

CandyCandy
Candy is the friendly voice clients will hear on the end of the phone, usually first thing in the morning. She has been with Penbode since 2002 and has long experience of farming life; being a farmers’ daughter and now a farmers’ wife!

SarahSarah Hawarth
Clients will usually find Sarah in the large animal dispensary, where she is responsible for large animal pharmaceuticals. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2005 and has been a part of the Penbode team since June 2000. Outside of work Sarah enjoys looking after and competing her horses.

HelenHelen Gliddon:
Helen is a full-time large-animal receptionist at the Stratton branch, and has worked for Penbode since March 2004.
Outside work, Helen enjoyshorse riding and walking her airdale terrier "Rosco"

JulietJuliet Moon:
Juliet started work at Penbode in April 2004, working full-time as a receptionist at the Stratton Farm animal department.
Outside work, Juliet enjoys swimming and walking her greyhounds "Harley" and "Billy"
